Biography
Nichola de Arderne was born about 1315.
She married Richard Basset by April 1331.[1]
This Richard Bassett died before March 1339.[2] He died without an heir before March 1339, during his father's lifetime.[2]
Some publications say she also married Thomas Swynford, but others say that the Nichola he married was Nichola Druel.[3]

The marriage of this person needs questioning. See the profile of Thomas Swinford who is currently her only husband. Apparently this person did exist though. She had previously been the wife of Sir Ralph Bassett of Weldon? (But I do not see her in the Bassett of Weldon entries in Complete Peerage.)

Actually a lot of the sources say she married Richard, son of Ralf. The idea that she also married an Arden seems to have begun with Cole in 1911.
